Though many may frown on restaurant chains, this tex mex cuisine is delicious, especially the favorite carne asada which gets a 4 out of 5 stars in our books! Located on North Avenue near the Old town and Lincoln Park area. Great aviance, and decor is old world:) love the food!

Great location at 939 west North Avenue,  beautiful decor, great healthy options, a tad bit higher in price point. Deserves a comeback!

Mayan Palace

Small restaurant but great service!!! Prices are reasonable! Food was good! Steak was delicious... Right off Lincoln 1/2 block south of Diversey. 2.5 out of 5 stars! 

Big Star

Awesome fish tacos, not what I expected ,  relaxing atmosphere, tasty food!!! Great place to kickback with some convo, wicker park area on Damen and wicker park! 3 out of 5 stars.

Lido's Empanadas

Small place, nothing fancy but serves its purpose of serving you the appetizer that this Argentinian establishment spins off. 2  out of 3 but I might be bias to Puerto Rican empanadas! Located on Clark north of Fullerton. 

Vapiano's

Circuses are awesome! Salads are the best!!! Especially strawberry spinach salad and Caesar:) a bit pricer but fresher ingredients and made to order. Located on Clark, Service was fine. It's a repeat! 3 out 5.

Cedar Hotel restaurant

Nice location close to rush street. The restaurants name is actually Cedar Hotel, burger was juicy though a bit salty, service was great, very busy Sunday night outdoor patio. 2 out of 5!

Great Service, kept the place open just for us gals. Very attentive service and FRESH food! Helped that the owner kept calling her patron MAMA:) tasty! Great portions! 3 out of 5 stars!

Great circuses , very cozy & romantic! Very limited menu, prices a bit higher, wait is long on weekends!!! The Italian Sausage was delicious and the tomato sauce awesome! Beware you MUST share the sandwiches! 3 out of 5 stars! Located at 2121 north Clark, Chicago Illinois. Enjoy!

Traveling taste buds Tijuana Flats

Really cool artwork and surroundings!!! Quesadillas were tasty and fried dough w chocolate was good for your sweet tooth! However it pretends to be Mexican food, but being from Chicago we know better, lol.... Pricey getting 2 1/2 out of 5 stars! Located on route 200 in Ocala Florida.
